Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to fill a part time, 22 hours per week role in North East London / South Essex area. The pay rate for this locum Band 3 Healthcare Assistant job is £10 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

This role will require you to work apart of the Thurrock Wheelchair Service where you will provide a second pair of hands on home visits when clinical staff need support, checking of stock deliveries, labelling up for clinics, IPC tasks for returned items, answering phones, referrals being placed onto S1 updating of systems to support team within the NHS. You must have experience using the S1 System and must be able to adapt kills to support case load management, manual handling experience and be able to manage movement of stock of variable sizes and weights.

Requirements of the Band 3 Healthcare Assistant role:

- You must have a level 3 or equivalent qualification
- You must have previous experience within a similar field
- having previous experience within the NHS is ideal
- You must have experience using the S1 System
