Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to fill a full time role in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of rapid response services.
This NHS Rapid Response Service works to prevent patients, in their own home and under the care of their GP, from being admitted into hospital if they become unwell and are safe to remain at home. This may include care and treatment at home, screenings for suspected DVT, Intravenous Therapy and holistic assessments.
Working throughout October, you will be required to work full time hours providing care under the supervision of of a senior member of staff (likely to be a Nurse or OT).
The pay rate for this locum Healthcare Assistant job is £10.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is to run throughout October 2018.
Requirements of the Band 3 HCA role:
- You must have a NVQ in Healthcare
- You must have previous experience working in a community team
- You must have previous rapid response experience
- You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
