Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 3 Community Support Worker to fill a full time role in South London. The ideal candidate will have experience of community rehabilitation practices within the NHS.
Working within the NHS as a Support worker, you will be required to provide contact, care and support according to the needs and wishes of the patients, to enable the client to function in their home and in the community to their maximum potential. You must develop and maintain effective communication with the patient's family and support and assist the patient to develop their existing skills.
There will be an element of multi-agency working and also personal care, however a full job description is available on request.
This position is full time, and you will be required to work on-call on occasions and also weekends (currently 1 in 4-6 weekends). Shift times for this role will vary between 08.30am - 16.00pm, 11.00am - 18.30pm and 13.30pm - 21.00pm.
The pay rate for this locum Band 3 Rehabilitation Support Worker job is £12.00 per hour for weekdays £15.00 nights and weekends (Umbrella) and is a 2 month contract with potential for extension, due to start ASAP.
To be considered for this role you must have an enhanced DBS completed in the last 12 months or on the Update Service and also up to date immunisations.
Requirements of the Band 3 Rehabilitation Support Worker role:
- You must have a level 3 qualification or equivalent
- You must have previous experience working within the community
- Having experience within rehabilitation is desirable
