Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 3 Community Rehab Support Worker to fill a full time role in Dulwich, South London.

You will be required to work a mixture of shifts, including on-call and some weekends.

The pay rate for this locum Band 3 Rehab Support Worker job is £12 per hour for weekdays, and £14 for nights and weekends (Umbrella) and is a 6 month contract due to start asap, with possibility for extension.

The shift times for this role are: 08:30-16:00, 11:00-18:30, 13:30-21:00 and you must be willing to work on a rota basis.

You will be required to provide a rehabilitation support service to adults aged 18 and over in the community. Clients have a range of diagnoses and clinical presentations, including fall, orthopaedic, respiratory, elderly, and neurological.

In this role, you will promote independence and, where possible, enable older people and adults to continue to live in their own homes. You will also help to facilitate timely discharge from hospital, in-patient intermediate care unit, or other step-down facility.

You will also be required to carry out all aspects of personal care.

Requirements of the Band 3 Rehab Support Worker role:

- You must have experience as a Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker
- you must have xprience of carrying out personal care in the community
- You must have a relevant Level 3 qualification.
- You will ideally be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
