Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for several Band 2 Mental Health Support Workers to fill job roles in Doncaster.
Our NHS Client are looking for Mental Health Support Workers/Nursing Assistants to start as soon as possible on a full-time rota basis, covering early, late and night shifts. The pay rate of this role is at £10.09 per hour for day shifts, £15 per hour for Night shifts/Saturdays and £20 per hour for Sundays/Bank Holidays (umbrella rates), and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
Requirements and details of this Mental Health Support Worker/Nursing Assistant vacancy:
*We are looking for candidates who have experience with mental health and/or learning disability practices within the NHS, as well as previous experience within a forensic/secure setting.
*The candidate will be required to work across 2 male-only forensic wards, with adults between the ages of 18 - 65, who suffer from learning disabilities such as: personality disorders, autism spectrum diagnosis and ADHD, who require specialist assessments, treatment and rehabilitation, for adult males detained under the mental health act.
*The candidate will be expected to support the registered nurses to ensure that the care provided directly meets each individual's needs.
