Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced administrator to fill a full time role in Ilkeston, Derby. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of administrative practices.
We are looking for a Band 2 MSK Administrator to work within Ilkeston on the hospital's telephone booking line. Your role will be to work with the electronic patient management systems including Choose and Book and SystmOne to co-ordinate appointment bookings with patients.
As a first point of contact for patients, you will inform patients of the outcome of their referral and make subsequent appointments or referrals on to other service providers. You will communicate closely with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and referrers to support the delivery of an efficient and effective service, in line with Trust Policy.
You will need to have well-developed administrative, call handling and customer care skills. You may be required to travel to other sites across Derbyshire, so ideally you will have the ability to travel.
The pay rate for this locum Band 2 Administrator job is £10.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract with potential for extension.

Requirements of the Band 2 Administrator role:
- You must have skills in call-handling
- You must have some previous administration experience
- You must have self-management skills and have the ability to prioritise workload
- You must have the ability to travel across Derbyshire
- Previous NHS experience is desirable, but not essential
