Job Description

A West London NHS Trust is in urgent need of an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work on a complex paediatric and neonatal feeding caseload. You will be the dysphagia lead therapist, spending your time split between working out in the community, as well as management and service development. The job involves you working across a wide age range of clients, in a variety of settings e.g. clinics, schools and home visits. All travel between sites can be done on public transport, so you don't need to be a car driver.

The trust would ideally like you to begin ASAP on a full-time basis, however part time hours will also be considered.

The pay rate for this role will be dependent on experience but will be between £28-£33 per hour.

--- Requirements of the Job ---

-HCPC and RSCLT registered
-Experience working with dysphagia and weaning for a wide range of conditions
-Ability to work with child protection, and with families through potential conflict and difficult decision making
-Varied MDT working skills with both DT, OT and Paediatricians
-Experience supervising less experienced dysphagia therapists
