Our client in Northern Ireland are urgently seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to work on acute wards with sick children. You will be a senior member of the team for the delivery of this specialist SLT service, and need to have the skills to work at Band 7 level. You will undertake sessions within multidisciplinary videofluoroscopy, tracheostomy, tongue tie and feeding clinics.
You will also be expected to lead other staff inclusive communication and dysphagia awareness training sessions, as well as undertaking management responsibility for any specialising SLT's and delegated management projects as required by the needs of the service.
The department are looking for you to start ASAP, full time for 4 months in the first instance. There is a very high probability that the contract will be extended.
Rate of this pay will be £35+ per hour depending on experience. There is also trust accommodation available for any therapists willing to re-locate for the role.
