Social Work team are currently recruiting for Adults Social Workers to fill a job role in Gloucestershire
The roles will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for a Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is Negotiable per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

This position is within the Adult social care countywide Learning Disabilities team. The team are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, has experience of working in Learning Disabilities and importantly live locally (this is because it is a countywide team and for agency they have noticed higher turnover due to location and commuting concerns). They ideally want someone who can work 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, however start times from 08:30 could be agreed too. This team normally have an initial telephone call before a face to face interview to discuss requirements and often are flexible with people's needs.

This social worker position is in the Adults Gloucester Locality team. It will involve undertaking complex casework, including safeguarding work. The post holder will be expected to support on the referral centre too. Due to staff shortages the team are looking for an agency worker prepared to work Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. They need people available to pick up urgent cases as they come through and offer the day to day work required for the people we work with. This team are very supportive and as a cohort of staff discuss things together in a reflective way to practice. .

This social worker position is in the Adults Tewkesbury locality team. The role will involve undertaking complex casework, including safeguarding work. The post holder will be expected to support on the referral centre too. The Tewkesbury team are a very supportive team, with a recent agency social worker commenting about how nice it has been to work there. The Tewkesbury team are able to consider part time workers for this position, however would prefer full time for the first two weeks induction period before commencing part time hours (they can be flexible on this). In terms of minimum hours it would need to be 22 hours or more. The team cannot support those wanting condensed hours over a four day working week - this is due to the nature of the role, intensity of work and pressure it would put that member of staff and the team under. The Tewkesbury locality is located about a 10 - 15 minute drive away from the M5, so has good commuter access. It would suit those coming from Worcester/B'ham way. There is on site parking in Tewkesbury, located next to the office.
