Maxxima is currently seeking experienced QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKERS AND TEAM MANAGARES to fill a full time role in GLOUCESTERSHIRE The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CHILDRENS SERVICES
The salary for these locum Social Care positions is £35 (Umbrella Rate) with up to £100 per week accommodation costs and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
These rates will be higher for more Senior Roles

Gloucestershire County Council is currently experiencing a high demand for agency social workers to support our social work teams.
We have a number of different social work opportunities available, all requiring immediate starts;
1.Safeguarding Social Workers [Priority]
*Our safeguarding teams are working with children and families through children in need plans and child protection plans as well as undertaking court work and supporting children as they enter care and plan their permanence. Our teams are locality based and we are looking for staff in the following locations:
oWorking in the North of the county, easy access from the West Mids via M5
oCovering the market towns of the Severn Valley in the South of Gloucestershire
oWorking in the urban centre of Gloucester in our newly refurbished offices, these teams also benefit from a dedicated multi-agency team providing health, education and youth support.
oBased in Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswold hills.
oThis beautiful spa town is home to Cheltenham office with shops and parking just outside the office.
2.Assessment Social Workers
Our assessment teams are making first contact with families, visiting children, undertaking assessments and S47 enquiries. Our teams are locality based and we are looking for staff in the following locations:
oWorking in the urban centre of Gloucester in our newly refurbished offices, this team also benefit from a dedicated multi-agency team providing health, education and youth support.
3.Front Door Social Workers
Within our front door to social care we are looking for experienced front line social workers who have a strong understanding of thresholds and risk. This is an office based role in Gloucester and isn't case holding. Social workers will be responding to new contacts about children, ensuring we provide a robust and timely response which is appropriate to the need presented. In addition social workers will be providing professional advice and guidance as required.
4.Front Door Team Managers
To work as part of our multi-agency front door for Children's Social Care. Managers will be providing decision making on the appropriate action for new contacts. They must have a strong understanding of thresholds and ability to keep to tight timelines, keeping the child at the centre of all decisions.
5.Permanency Social Workers (11-25's)
Our CiC teams are working with young people who are already in care as we work to improve their outcomes and plan for their futures through pathway planning. These teams are co-located with youth service roles. We are looking for staff in:
