Job Description

Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Qualified Social Workers to fill a full time job role in Goucestershire.

The roles will be based within Childrens Services, who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for these roles is up to£35 and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Gloucestershire County Council is currently experiencing a high demand for agency social workers to support our social work teams.

We have a number of different social work opportunities available, all requiring immediate starts;

1.Safeguarding Social Workers [Priority]

Our safeguarding teams are working with children and families through children in need plans and child protection plans as well as undertaking court work and supporting children as they enter care and plan their permanence. Our teams are locality based and we are looking for staff in the following locations:

StroudGL5 4AE
TewkesburyGL20 5TT
GloucesterGL1 2TG

2.Permanency Social Workers (11-25's)
Our CiC teams are working with young people who are already in care as we work to improve their outcomes and plan for their futures through pathway planning. These teams are co-located with youth service roles. We are looking for staff in:
