Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking experienced FAMILY SUPPORT WORKERS to fill a full time role in WAKEFIELD. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES.

The starting pay rate for these locum Social Care positions is £20 and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Scope of Work - appropriate for this post:
To work in partnership with children, young people, their families and/or carers to meet their
assessed needs.
To co-work with other professionals as identified in operational plans for children, young people,
their families and/or carers in a variety of supervised settings.
To produce an maintain records.
To attend and participate in meetings as appropriate.
To identify potential difficulties regarding service delivery and to report these as appropriate.
To deliver a high quality family support service for children.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities - appropriate for this post:
Responsible to a Senior Support Worker
Will have responsibility for a family case load, working in a variety of settings.
Additional Supporting Information - specific to this post:
Duties and responsibilities as directed by the management team to deliver a children and families
support service to identified children and their families in accordance with agreed criteria.
